I hit puberty at, like, nine, and even waaay before that I was, like, staring at my girl friends in the bath and stuff and playing kiss-chase games with boys. Bisexual from the womb!

I actually said you were adorable when you checked your text messages and saw that Ben had gone asleep without you, and you were all, “aww, we usually go to sleep *together*” and it was adorable, and then you were all, “I adore him”, and it was even *more* adorable. Jesus, you two.

Well, really, anti-gay and anti-trans people *are* dealing with their own identities–they’re reacting out of fear because gay and trans people make them question their own gender and sexual identities.

Dude, do you remember when I got stubble burn so bad from making out with Tyler that it scabbed over and turned black? Oh my god, I thought my chin was gonna fall off.

Apparently since waxing is so popular now, gynecologists and dermotologists say there’s a huge increase in boils and ingrown hairs and all manner of gross infected stuff on people’s vadges and asses. Ugh, so fucked. Thats why I stopped shaving my bikini line, I just kept getting ingrown hairs, and thats way grosser than just being hairy.

Whenever the “are beauty standards nature or nurture?” thing comes up, I just think about that social experiment they did where they showed American TV to some African girls who had never seen it before, and suddenly there was a huge upswing in anorexic behavior among them. And people in naturally dark-skinned societies using skin-lightening creams. And so on. Like, I think it’s hard to tell exactly where the line is, but I do think a large portion of it is nurture. I think we all have this idea of individualism, that what we believe is inherently in *us*, but that’s not necessarily true. But I think as long as you recognize that physical attractiveness isn’t the most important thing, and that your standards of beauty shouldn’t be applied to everyone and other people’s standards are valid, as you guys do, that’s the important thing. The problem isn’t finding traditionally attractive people attractive, it’s expecting everyone to look traditionally attractive and making them feel like shif if they don’t.

First : Ben - Stretching ears, and Facial surgery…. 2 different countries as far as pain goes. I stretched my ears while I was working as a tattoo artist, and it wasn’t that bad. I also hand fed jayna when she was so swollen that she couldn’t see after surgery, and I know that the pain pills were not keeping the massive amounts of pain she was experiencing at bay.

Second: Marina - I jumped out of a plane once…. yes, I agree it was insane. I think I was trying to “off” myself. You know, parasuicidal behavior and all when I was still figuring out with my gender identity. (that was the original name of my Sci-Fi Novel BTW, and I still own the domain parasuicidal.com)

Third…. ooooo you got busted…. I was thinking about your Calpernia comments from 137 and I was like…. oh, I hope Cali doesn’t hear them… guess she has her ears out on the grass roots connections right now. She is very nice, and a very interesting person.

BTW- you should totally e-mail us your phone number so we can chat about tattoo’s an piercings. ( I get a little nostalgic, and Jayna doesn’t have any Tattoo’s)
