The most recent Araki movie is with Anna Faris, and it's about stoners. *g* Yeah, I don't know. Hopefully it'll be cool, I think it's only been shown at festivals so far. The teen apocalypse trilogy is Totally Fucked Up, The Doom Generation, and Nowhere.

I know, it's not like I've been doing nothing, but junior college is pretty much just an extension of high school. And most people do junior college in 2 years, not FIVE, so...you know. Kind of a fuck up there.

The gay movie does sound cute. (Look, for once I don't disagree with Ben! It's like a miracle! *g*)

God, I have such a hard time showing my shit to people for criticism. Like, yeah, I put fic on the internet, but a) that's not serious, and b) the livejournal format pretty much guarantees that I'll only get good comments--I don't even send mine to a beta (editor) like most ficwriters do. But when it comes to showing them poetry or short stories, yeah...I'm very reticent. And I definately don't like reading aloud.

But actually, during my last creative writing class, I found myself *longing* for criticism---all my peer readers were so fucking *nice* and uncritical, and of course I was totally critical of everyone else's stuff (because I wanted them to stop writing shitty stuff and get *better*) so I just felt like an asshole all of the time. Also, now I barely write anything that isn't fanfiction unless I'm forced to for class, because I suck. Hopefully my hour of trainriding will provide some writing time.

I mostly just like The Rules of Attraction, though I like Less Than Zero a bit too, and his newer one was sort of interesting in a self-obsessed way. Hey, if there was no Bret Easton Ellis, Araki's movies would be way different.

Dude, I totally troll thrift stores for my used books, though hopefully I'll be going to Book Bin soon. But yeah, I always feel like an asshole for buying from Barnes and Nobles instead of some mom and pop place, but I'm poor! And they have Starbucks--the one near my house lets you use your B&N member card for a discount! (Also, wow, with his LA is a soul-sucking deathtrap thing, Ben basically just summed up every Gregg Araki movie and Bret Easton Ellis book. *g*)

My name suggestions: Tweedledee and Tweedledum (obvious), Zaphod and Beeblebrox (from Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy--he has two heads), Isabelle and Theo (from the Dreamers--in case they like incest), Chang and Eng (from the famous siamese twins). Yeah, that's all I got. Zaphod and Beeblebrox is my favorite suggestion, btw.
