Ba-zing!

Here it is, kiddies; the brand new Ben’s Pants. Course, no-one goes here anymore, which is why it shut down in the first place, but that doesn’t mean I can’t re-apropriate it for my own unpleasent ends. Which is exactly what I plan to do here.

What can you expect from this new, fantastic site? Well, that there will be a goodly amount of shameless self-promotion should be a given. You’ll probably also see me linking to tentacles I’ve spread out into the web – things like livejournal, Flickr, Deviantart, etc – as well as conducting hideous, terrifying experiements – playing god, if you will. One can only imagine in their most diabolical nightmares what my swollen ego may accomplish. It’s possible that, if people start, like, going here or something, we might see things like message boards – doubtful – or perhaps even the return of things like Write Club, which I think would be cool, but will probably never happen.

  1. I vote we restart work on the RPG. We can dredge all the original participants out of their corners of the world and then get back to working around the impossible creative and logistical issues that prevented it from ever happening in the first place. Why not?

  4. I checked up on Write Club the other day. Was mining some of my old entries for story ideas for my writing class. I think we’d need to revamp it.

  5. I’m definitely a people.

Now that I’m older and wiser, I think that Write Club would be a good creative outlet to engage in. I’m all for it.

  6. I hope this isn’t some sort of twitching from an already dead corpse, but instead some sort of Zombi action, where you are up from the dead to conquer all something like Jesus did. I will try to visit more if there is something here to visit.
PS. if anybody is in town the next week they should try making it to CHS from the first through saturday. We are doing a student written play, that was a huge every body writing it thing, and i think it is turning out pretty well. The show is called Rootbound and Rootless, which is a direct statement about beeing a teen boring, and the Tree, we all miss.
Honestly the Tree, in so many words is in the show, one day we were talking about friends for writing ideas, and when it got down to my turn i talked about the Tree and how much it was a central point for you guys and every returning theater-artsy geek, i busted up in tears, and now your Tree is in the show. Though there are now few direct references to the Tree through words, all of the gobo’s say it in fewer wors than any of us poets could try.
I remember the first time i knew the Tree was going to be in the show, i wanted to tell you all so bad, but i figured there was no way to tell you guys because i knew the sight was down, you tricky bitches.
Anyhow come see the show if you can, in the all too bitchen new theater, it will be the first CHS show in the theater, and with out directly saying it you and your Tree is in it.
Get a hold of me about tickets if you wan’t Wednesday is preview so anybody who can be there i can get in for free but you have to get ahold of me, maybe through Katty
